There are seasons in life when we do not fully understand what we are becoming. We move through uncertainty, disappointment, love, loss, ambition, fear and hope, carrying experiences that quietly shape the person we become. The Harvest of My Seeds is a collection born from that journey.
These poems are reflections on life as it is experienced rather than as it is supposed to be. They explore the tension between where we come from and where we hope to go, between the person we are and the person we are still becoming. Within these pages are questions about identity, faith, time, relationships, success, failure, loneliness, society and the choices that shape our lives.
The collection moves through deeply personal spaces. There are reflections on growing up, family, the absence of support, emotional wounds and the search for belonging. There are also observations about township life, poverty, unemployment, ambition and the pressure to find a way forward in circumstances that do not always make the journey easy. Yet this is not simply a book about hardship .It is also a book about possibility.
